One of our certified technicians at Katz Computer Service will install and/or upgrade software on your existing computer. We understand, like many things, working with software can be difficult. You have the option to bring your computer to our repair facility or one of our technicians can come to your location. Whether at your location or our facility, our certified technician will install and/or upgrade your software. To ensure you are getting the most out of your new or upgraded software our technician will configure it to your needs to ensure the utmost optimization.

OS (Operating System) Upgrade or Installation
If your system is running an old operating system and you want to improve its performance and abilities our certified technicians can assist by upgrading your operating system to an updated version. Sometimes running older operating systems on your computer in conjunction with newer software or equipment can slow down your system causing longer processing times and slow downloads. There is no need to rush out and purchase a new system to fix these problems. In most cases, upgrading your operating system will take care of these issues.
Our Certified Technician will:
- Install one operating system on a computer in proper working condition with the OS install discs or original restore discs provided by client
- Install all drivers for proper functionality of all internal components
- Install all updates
- Install the original software titles supplied by manufacturer (if required for proper functionality or ir performing a restore)
- Test operating system to ensure proper functionality
Upgrade Existing Software
If you have an existing piece of software on your system that requires upgrading to a newer version, our certified technicians can assist you by properly upgrading the software on your system. Once the software is upgraded clients will be given an introductory consultation to make sure they understand how to operate the software following the upgrade.

- Create a desktop icon for product (if you prefer)
- Verify program(s) show up in "start" menu and in Quick Launch toolbar

Sometimes installing new software on your computer can be a hassle and stressful. Our certified technicians can assist you by properly installing your new software and ensuring proper functionality. Once your new software is installed on your system, the technician will ensure you have a thorough understanding to operate the software.
