To give you the most accurate and cost effective pricing for your service, a certified technician will diagnose your system prior to making any changes and give you the option to proceed with your repair. Technicians will perform a system analysis to identify the cause of the problem. Hardware, software, and other related issues will be analyzed.

Note: If customer authorizes the repair, the diagnostic fee will be credited towards the cost of labor for the repair.

When a computer slows down it is often infected by viruses, spyware, and/or malware. If your computer is running slow, acting strange or displaying error messages Katz Computer Service can help by providing you with our efficient virus removal service.

To remove malicious software from your computer our certified technicians will do the following to restore your computer or laptop's speed by performing the following tasks:

Once your computer or laptop is free of all viruses, spyware, and malware a Katz Computer Service certified technician will give you the option to have Anti-Virus software installed on your system to protect you from future attacks.

*Due to the time required to perform scans we suggest this service be performed in our repair facility to make it more cost-effective. If you are unable to bring your system to us, we can arrange to come to  your location, disconnect your system, and reconnect it after the service is complete.

Hardware Replacement & Upgrade

If you need to replace or upgrade a piece of hardware on your system one of our certified technicians will get the job done for you. Replacing or upgrading a component on your system can make a difference in the performance and overall ability of your computer.

System Restore

Your operating system can become unstable and behave unpredictable. This can occur after installing new software or a driver to your system. Often these issues can be corrected by uninstalling the software or driver. However, in order for the computer to work properly, sometimes it requires a system restore. This restores your computer's system files to an earlier date, prior to its faulty behavior. In the event your system needs to be restored, Katz Computer Service has certified technicians on staff with experience in system restores.

System Restore Details:

• Restore system
• To avoid additional fees, please bring in all CDs, DVDs and software the machine came loaded with or ones your wish to have reloaded.
• Best practice is for clients to back up all data. If you are uncomfortable doing it or do not have the capability this can be done at our facility.

*Note: All software must have valid install keys.
